A tribute piece for the girls in automotive and to the MX5’s that stole our hearts. I decided to draw a girl leaning against her MX5 outside a 711 as an ode to those first late night drives with your beloved car, where the roads are quiet, the world feels like it’s yours and for a little while you feel unstoppable. Her outfit is a little homage to Suki who is a character who means a lot to me and many others. I remember seeing her on the screen as a little girl and feeling so empowered seeing someone so passionate and dedicated to her craft. This piece is for the girls who grew up dreaming of getting behind the wheel and the ones who still feel that spark as they turn the key.
